Sexually harassed and abused on campus

This news talks about the sexual harassment that happened on campus. One of the victim is from Gadja Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Her name is Maria (Not a real name). She said that there was a lecturer who wanted to meet her at 8 p.m in the library. The lecturer wanted to talk about her project which has already too late to giving that project. However, the lecturer said that her project might become a thesis so he wanted to meet her personally. They met in the library where there is no people around in the area at that time. That night, the lecturer touched her chest and she felt like he was grabbing her breast. The next day after that event, the lecturer wanted to meet her again. She accepted the request to make sure that the lecturer will do the same way or not. If he still doing that, she decide to call the police and arrest him. But, surprisingly the lecturer was so polite and did not do anything to her. One year after that event, there was a rumour that the same lecturer was harassing another female student and then the lecturer was reported to the faculty and then faculty processed the case right away.

 There are a lot of bad people in the earth. Like someone who really has knowledge like the lecturer still can do something like sexually harassing his students. There is a lot of victims and also it just the happiness about one person. Every people should not make a person become an object for only their pleasure. It nice to know that the faculty give the support and shows their awareness about this topic. Hopefully, it can be a warning for the people who life like that lecturer.
